The Henry Lever Action is a classic Western-style lever action carbine, and one of the most popular .22's on the market today. The reason for its popularity is because it shoots great, looks great and is remarkably affordable - about half the price of the competition.

The Henry Lever Action features an extremely attractive American walnut stock, the quality of which can only be found on guns three times the price. The action is exceptionally smooth, so smooth many first timers remark that they cannot believe it has any internal parts. You simply have to get one into your own two hands and cycle the action a few times to see for yourself.

The Henry Lever Action also features side ejection, an adjustable rear sight, a hooded front sight, and a grooved receiver for mounting a scope. The blued steel barrel is machined with state of the art multiple groove rifling. The result is a highly accurate shooter.

The barrel length is 16.125", overall length is 34", and it weighs in at a very comfortable 4.5 pounds. The easy to load tubular magazine can handle 12 rounds of .22 Long Rifle, 14 rounds of .22 Long, and 17 rounds of .22 Short, making it a viable alternative to a semi automatic, and a lot more fun to shoot.

I have wanted this Henry for some time but to be honest, because I wear glasses, I wasn’t sure how well I would be able to see the front sight.. I chose to get one with the hooded front sight thinking it would help, and sure enough, it does… not only is this a very nice looking rifle, the action is smooth and solid… you can tell you are holding a Henry… Buds made the transition smooth and seamless… delivery was during snow and ice but somehow, they managed to only miss projected ETA by 1 day and to be honest that was a weekend day so I really don’t even count it a lost day… I recommend Buds .. highly… thanks BG !!

Fantastic product, very smooth out of the box. The only two things I have with it are more my issue for not having owned a similar rifle previously. 1.) Loading the rifle required that you have your hand close to the barrel and 2.) There is not a great method to decock the weapon aside from thumbing it forward, which without a safety I could see as being somewhat risky. Other than that great first rifle for a new shooter.

Absolutely holds up to the Henry name for the best made lever rifles in the world. Superior quality craftsmanship in every part to include the Walnut stock all made in the USA and assembled here too. I now own 4 Henry’s and every one of them have the smooth as glass actions, all feel real good to the touch and outstanding accuracy. It’s almost a shame to shoot them but when you do you will not want to stop until you run out of ammo. I have been shooting rifles every since I was 10 years old 49 years later and having shot numerous firearms, I have never shot anything as good as a Henry. Trust me when I say once you buy and shoot a Henry all other firearms will not even be close to the same.

I like the larger loop lever. Very easy and fast ordering from Bud's Gun Shop. Rifle is very accurate. The action is very smooth. I liked it so much that I ordered the Golden Boy 22 a month later! Henry makes very nice rifles. Fit and finish excellent. Fun to shoot.
