• Q: I own a sw model 29. The recoil when shooting 44 mag rounds can be a bit heavy. Can anyone tell me what the recoil on the beautiful rifle is like? Thanks.

  It is going to be considerably less, as James mentioned the weight of the rifle will tame a good bit of recoil, a good amount of that weight being in the barrel ain't gonna hurt none either, that its a rifle will also make it more manageable, in a rifle you are going to have multiple points of contact with the Gun (Trigger hand, Stock into shoulder, and support hand on the foregrip) I've not shot a 44mag rifle, but I've shot 357 back to back out of a revolver then a rifle and it is much more smooth out of a rifle

• Q: Does this rifle come in a factory box with a user manual? Also, how is it shipped? ie: Hard plastic case, etc... lastly, do you load the ammo into a receiver port or directly into the tube itself? Thank you!

  comes packaged in a cardboard box. Ammo can be loaded in the tube or directly one into the ejection port

• Q: can you shoot a 45 colt in this rifle and can the big boy 45 colt shoot the 44 special ?

  Hi Russell, no you can't. The .45 Long Colt is an entirely different cartridge compared to the .44 Special. The .44 Special cartridge is a shortened version of the .44 Magnum. You will have to buy either the .45 LC or the .44 Magnum. If you choose the .44 Magnum then you can shoot the .44 Special in it with no issues.
