Knoxx SpecOps Folder for Mossberg Shotguns

Finally took this out to play. Very happy with it. I don't know about reducing recoil by 60%, but I could easily fire my Mossberg 12 with one hand on the pistol grip. Do yourself a favor though and don't sight down the barrel while only using the pistol grip. Hit me right int he face. :) Anyway, very easy to install.

Great Deal! This was my first on-line purchase with Buds Guns and I can say I'm completely happy. First of all, Buds is at least $20 cheaper than anywhere else and I had my stock in about 3 days. Now for review of Knoxx SpecOps Folder...came packaged with everything needed to install stock. Stock looked great and matched the parkerized finish of my Mossy 500a to a T. Functionallity - had no probs installing stock, took about 3 mins total. Stock folded and unfolded sharply with no play in either position. Was able to use bead sight with stock folded up. Knoxx's claim to 65% recoil, well, not quite. I shot some home defense loads, sabot slugs and regular military issue 00# through it and the recoil was about what you would expect from a regular 12 gauge with a 1" buttpad. Still, I was expecting a U-shaped bruise from the wire stock but was pleasantly surprised. The only problem was engaging the slide lock, stock is a little close to be able to get fingers on without looking, but a little work with a dremmel tool or a release extension would cure that. Good enough to buy another!
