I love this gun! I have 3 now, 2 used and 1 new from Bud's. I have big hands and the gun balances perfect for me. My 20 year old daughter is average build and she can handle it easily. My wife has small hands and it is too big for her. The gun shoots smooth. I don't think it has ever FTF, FTE and I shoot low price target ammo and reloads in them. The new one I got from Buds did have a lot of factory grease in it. I cleaned it as soon as I got it home and it has shot fine. I hope Buds can get some more available as several family members want one for themselves.

I have had this gun for about 8 months and i have to say that i am very impressed.It is a great looking gun that shoots really well.It eats everything i feed it ,including reloads.It is so nice i will be getting the blued version soon.

The PT 917 C 9MM is the BIGGEST PIECE OF CRAP I ever bought !!!!.It only looks good. The slider spring had a hard bend in it , the chrome plating was coming off the guide rod , it shoots one foot to the right from dead center . I sold it and bought a real pistol from BUD'S GUN SHOP , Beretta 92F/S Stainless . HAPPILY EVER AFTER !!!!!!!!.

Just got this gun a few days ago, its beautiful, very nice fit and finish. I like the large capacity clip, my gun came with a 19 and 17 round clip. I equipped my gun with a BSA lazer, red dot. Adjusted the sight, its ready to shoot. My only complaint with the whole process was Bud's kept asking for my FFL dealer, and I tried to explain, I was using the same dealer as the last time. This was the third gun I had purchased from Bud's in the last two months, couldn't Bud's have kept a record of my dealer? Finally I asked my same FFL dealer to send Bud's his information.Finally we got the job done.

This was awsome. Ordered on Friday, sent the M/O on Saturday. Recieved confirmation on Monday. Weapon in hand on Friday. Confirmation of it being sent with tracking number recieved on Saturday. Their shipping beat their e-mail. Put a couple hundred rounds through it on Sunday. Shoots great and looks FANTASTIC. This is the second 917 I have bought and the second weapon from Bud's. I have decided to never buy from anyone but Bud's. They are GREAT. Price, shipping, everything is 100% on track.

This firearm was delivered so fast the e-mail with shipping information was received after I picked the gun up from the FFL dealer. Buds had the check on Tuesday and I had the gun from the FFL dealer on Friday. Very pleased with service from Buds. Had questions and the customer service person on the phone was very helpful. The PT-917c SS looks great. (Tried looking up the serial number on the Taurus web site serial number search feature, but couldn't find the history of the firearm. Probably will have to call Taurus customer service to find out manufacture date.)

First off, Buds is ridiculous! (Meant in the best way possible) Ordered Monday Morning, and at my FFL on WEDNESDAY! Amazing, A+ service, they have a customer for life. Now onto the gun, I absolutely love this gun. I've put 300 rounds through it so far and not one hiccup. It is a dream to shoot and on target every time. This is my second Taurus handgun and they have yet to disappoint me, the superior craftsmanship and unbeatable price point make this the best bang for your buck, period.

The PT 917CS is a fine 9mm. This is the first 9mm I've owned and I'm totally inpressed with its performance. Handles fine, shoots great. So far there has been no malfunctions or issues.
