I have not shot with the sight yet, but so far I am very disappointed in the product. I have a Kimber CDP II, great gun, love it. The laser guide rod however prevents the slide from releasing when installed. After field stripping the gun several times and watching a video on how to install it I finally figured out that cushion that comes on the guide rod is long enough that when you attempt to move the slide forward you can not move it far enough forward to knock the slide lock down and so you have to push it down manually every time. Also if the magazine is in the gun it locks the slide lock up so that even if you try to manually push the slide lock down (while pulling the slide back) you can not. I do like the product and I am trying to find a thinner cushion for the guide rod so that hopefully I can actually use it. I had read several forums before getting the laser guide rod and had not heard of poeple with other guns having the same issue, but if you have the same gun as me I strongly recomend agianst getting this.

Also it scratched the crap out of my frame. Not when installing (I know how to install the slide stop with out scratching the frame), but everytime the slide lock slides up into the slide it scratches the frame.
