Century / S&W USED Model 36

Got mine a couple of weeks ago, a few rust pits which I removed with some solvent and 0000 steel wool. Good mechanical condition, some excessive ware on the frame lug, (I think that's the correct part), from the cylinder hitting it. Overall great revolver for the price. Great job Bud's, It was good doing business with you again.

Mechanically it's in good shape. Physically, not so much. More then a few very noticeable rust and pitting spots, and the blue is worn off at many points. I got it for less then standard price on the auction, so I thought they gave me a lemon. Sounds like they're all like this. That said, I love the three s&w model 10 police trade ins I got from buds. I still kinda like the gun, though I'd like it a lot more if it were cleaner.

The gun I received was in a lot rougher shape than the one pictured on the site. It has rust on it to the point you can't even see the SW logo. It has scratches, too. Someone asked me if I had found it in a laying in a bush outside of my apartment. I am going to have to have it refinished and buy some new grips. By the time I am done I'll be financially into it almost as much as just buying a new one. Live and learn.

Just got my revolver. I should have heeded the advise to check it out first before transfering. The front of the snubby isn't too bad but the back of it looks like it's been laying in the creek. One glob of rust. (PITIFUL). As long as it's in my hand than It's not embarrasing. (covers up the rust bucket). Live and Learn!

The one I ordered came in today -- It was was much better than advertised -- No turn line to speak of and just a few rust specks that dissapeared with the swipe of an oily rag -- Tight and indexes properly -- I can't speak for what they all may look like but this one is in nearly unfired condition -- Bud's service was great -- as usual
