UMA R200S 1911 45AP 5SS 7RD

Received 1911 in a very timely manner, gun was incredible. After cleaning and a little gun oil, weapon fired fantastic, very accurate and incredible quality. Highly recommend. I think I paid $500 and looks like $1500 investment. Would highly recommend, beautiful show piece.

First, about Bud's on ordering the gun - I ordered on a Monday morning before work. The gun was shipped the same day and arrived by Wednesday. Bud's has excellent communication and I received emails at every step. I would order from Bud's again. Now about the gun - the fit and finish is very impressive for a gun of this price point. The slide to frame fit it very good with only a very tiny amount of side to side movement. There were no obvious machining marks on the slide inside and out. Only the ambi safety had a slight machine mark. The mainspring housing, grip safety, recoil plug and slide stop are all MIM. The finish is pretty good but doesn't match the rest of the gun. The plug and slide release look like they may be finished with some kind of chrome or Duracoat but look ok. Reliability - So 100 rounds though the r200s. Only 1 failure to feed on "8" round aftermarket mag on last round. No failures to eject, no failures to go into battery. I'd say that is reliable. Seemed to shoot a little low but hard to tell because I am not used to gun/sights yet. The stock mag works fine but it is flimsy and seems like it won't last over time but 1911 mags are cheap enough.

buds was great as always ...now as for the gun well its not worth the money, its a great looking gun nice and tight fit accuracy is right on the mark. feeds very well. Now for the problem on every other round the hammer will would not lock to the rear, it would come forward with the slide. on a few occasions it would double fire with one trigger pull. NOT A SAFE WEAPON. Took it to the gunsmith and replace all the internals. Now its a safe and fun weapon to shoot.

I love this 1911 its the best bang for your buck I've found for a 1911. I have 50 rounds down the pipe with no issues. It shoots great and the sights are pretty close to where I like them right out of the box. The only concern I have is the magazine sticks a little in the mag well when inserting it. When you release the mag if pops out just fine. I will purchase a better mag but you always need a few spares. With all that being said I'm still 100% satisfied with the pistol and the excellent service from Buds I will continue to order for them in the future.

Really good product. this is my second 1991 and for the price you cant beat it. YES it is not made in the USA but ALOT of 1911s are not made in the usa. alot of extras you would get in a higher end 1911. Def worth every penny. no ftf or fte no problems what so ever.
