Hi Kevin, it is the same as the non LE models. Manufacturers earmark a certain firearm percentage of packages to be sold to first responders/LE only. This is by the manufacturer and not the vendor. No difference in the actual firearm.

My uneducated guess (you get what you pay for) is that it comes in those scary black syn colors and have an additional mag. Perhaps even a better pair of sights? I've got a 9 year old tactical mini 14; with my added rail its a pain to take apart. But I luv it!
