The Micro 9 KHX is the Micro version of the 1911 KHX with hexagonal slide serrations (looks like honey comb).

This firearm is exactly as advertised, good quality. It is a little expensive but all Kimbers seem to be that way. Sights are easily obtained and show up clearly.

This is a neat little gun. It's a modified 1911 -- just enough of the old country to satisfy those trust the platform. The Micro 9 just disappears in your clothes; very easy to discretely carry. After a couple of sessions at the range and carrying for the last two weeks, I can say I'm very happy with this purchase. Thanks Buds!

Calling it micro just doesn't seem right. Short and stout with the heft of a full size handgun. It fits in your pocket but it's not really concealed. Fine looking piece for sure but micro it is not. May change rating upon firing-I've heard of issues with these not cycling properly...we'll see.
