The Remington Model 700 CDL with the 24" stainless barrel is an excellent rifle. Very accurate with 3/4' groups @100yds with Hornady 165gr solid copper bullets. And the recoil pad is amazing, the felt recoil is almost half of other rifles. I love this rifle !!!

I was concerned from some of the reviews regarding quality. Absolutely beautiful condition and a really sharp gun. The pictures do not do it justice, it is much better than them. Took 8 days to ship, a little longer than expected in the Amazon Age, but it does not disappoint.

Beautiful gun...Initially had accuracy issues compared to my other three Model 700's so back to Rem...They returned with proof target (~1 MOA target using berger ammo). Mounted new scope and accuracy unchanged. Tried 6 different production ammo types/weights and finally found that it only likes 180 gr. core lokt. Go figure. Not my preference, but I'll keep it for now.

I love everything about this rifle except the trigger. I have a Timney trigger on order and will replace the X-Mark Pro trigger that is very poorly designed and ineffective.

This gun arrived at my dealer after waiting a few weeks. No complaints about that BUT there was a nasty gouge on the fore end of the stock and I didn't accept the transfer. Waiting for the replacement now. No complaints about Buds as they were very helpful.
