In all honesty this is a quality rifle. I bought it and sighted it in this weekend. This rifle is more than capable of being accurate enough for hunting and occasional range work. Unlike others I found the bolt smooth and easy to operate. My only complaint is the scope the comes with the rifle. It will get the job done for hunting but it leaves some to be desired. I likely will not replace it though because I cannot see spending extra on this rifle given the low amount I paid for it. I give the rifle package 4 out of 5 stars.

This is a fine rifle for the price, at first the action was a little rough but I oiled it and worked it aggressively and that fixed it. I don’t like the plastic trigger guard. The scope isn’t the greatest but again it’s a $240 setup so for the price I can’t really complain. This will be my new coyote/feral hog gun.

The gun feels a little cheap. Which it is so that’s fine. The bolt doesn’t smoothly engage the round. It take a firm all in one action to do it. May be a safety deal. Sighted relatively easy and quick. Good gun for the money for sure.

Great order processing. A good value in .243 w/scope. I didn't like the noisy safety. Shot it a bit then traded it for a nicer quality rifle. An adequate shooter at a very low price. Great for new shooter who doesn't have a large budget.

I am sorry to say that I bought this gun recently, and it has truly disappointed me. I would have thought Remington would have built a better gun than this. I will probably either sell it or give it away.

As stated in many online reviews I've seen prior to buying, the bolt is a little 'clunky'. Lube it heavy and work the bolt aggressively a few times and it smooths right out. A very nice gun/scope setup, and nowhere near the price of a Model 700. I'm very happy with this purchase, and Bud's ordering system is top notch!
