I love this 1911, Fiber optic front sight and 14+1 of 45 ACP. Handles all grains with ease and never missed a beat. Definitely would buy another para 1911.

review points: 1. Para Customer service excellent. 2. Para quality control disappointing. 3. Weapon accuracy, excellent 4. Weapon reliability , fair to poor, due to consistant feed problems with anything but new factory round nose ammo. Para shipped a replacement extractor to try to resolve this issue. The ejector rod broke off after about 200 rounds. I have another para hand gun which had to be serviced for multiple issues. Para is replacing the entire weapon at no cost to me.

Great gun. My best 45 so far!!! Out of the box accuracy is impressive: At 25 feet, it groups so tight that the holes on the target were overlaping. Shot over 300 rounds of remington ammo without a single jam or failure to eject. The only draw back it is that is picky when it comes to what you shoot. I try using some of my reloads and it would jam at least once per magazine. It is also very, very chalenging to reasemble. I have over 20 pistols and this one is without a doubt the toghest one to put together. It was my 5th purchase from buds and as usual, the service was flawless with quick delivery and great service. Mine came missing a wrench to assemble the gun... Called Buds and was instructed to call Para ordnance. I called a week ago and up to now, I haven't received it. But I am sure that either Bud's or Para will make it right...

Amazing engineering. Only 28 ounces, full featured with match trigger and barrel, aluminum frame and hold 14 rounds of .45 ACP. Feels like a perfect balance when 14 rounds are loaded into the high-cap mag to off-set the 12 ox weight reduction from the lightweight frame. Quite a looker with contrasting stainless hardware against midnight bluing.
