Works well on squirrels and such. I put a low powered scope on it and its now my go to rodent killer.

CZ builds a fine gun, I own two and have owned others in the past. This 17 HMR is a tack driver. The trigger is fine, it feeds from the magazine with very little effort and shoots tight groups. While the stock is obviously not walnut it is nicely shaped and finished. I'm quite happy with my rifle.

The rifle can't load the ammo!! Can not load the ammo with the steel magazine!! I bought a 10 round of Poly Magazine, and then, it can hardly load it in, but not smooth at all. So, just put it away of my small game. I don't know what to do with it!!! But, no problem with the accuratecy, if you can load and shoot it! I never Got a gun too hard load ammo like this!

Fit and finish of this gun is exemplary. Truly old world craftsmanship. Built with the same care as a centerfire. Love the way the hogs back stock fits. Perfect for the open sights. Buy one now before they're gone!

This is the most accurate rifle I own. Will out shoot my Ruger 77/17 and that's saying something! Put Nikon Prostaff scope on and can put 5 in a dime at 50yds. It loves Federal V-shok but will do very nice with any CCI ammo.

Buy this rifle before it is no longer available! It is as accurate as a Savage ( That's a high rating ). This rifle will group 5 CCI Gamepoint 20 grain bullets under a nickel at 100 yards. The groups with 17 grain V-max loads ( CCI or Hornady ) are only one quarter of an inch larger. The handling characteristics of the rifle are beyond excellent. For me, the shape of the CZ military trainer stocks is just about perfect. I did have to use very high mounts to get my 6-18x50mm scope to clear the rear sight. I expect this to be an excellent crow hunting rifle. The 17 HMR chambering will allow me to hit crows out to 150 yards without having to guess how much hold-over is needed. That's pretty flat trajectory for a rimfire rifle. I am very pleased with my 17 HMR CZ Military Trainer. I'm glad I bought it from Bud's. The purchase process was without flaw.

Purchase the gun on Sunday, received it on Wednesday. What can I say, budsgunshop.com is the best Online firearm store period. The gun arrived in pristine condition. I have not shot the rifle yet but believe me, this rifle is a beauty. 2 thumbs up to the budsgunshop crew.
