Our Reserve Series™ shotguns are beauties, but don't let the good looks fool you. These over-and-unders work as hard as you and your four-legged hunting buddy do. These double guns share the same classic lines, craftsmanship and reliability associated with so-called "high end" over-and-unders. What's missing is the high-end price tag. That's right, Reserve Series™ shotguns are as easy to afford as they are to admire. At the heart of these amazing over-and-unders: an underlock design box-lock action for superior strength and low profile. In plain English, the barrels are set lower in the receiver and in closer alignment to your arms and hands. Shoulder your Reserve Series™, and you're instinctively on target. In the unlikely event that's not enough to bag your bird, chrome-plated bores are topped with a wide, ventilated rib, putting your eye square on that streaking target. No question the Reserve Series™ is a sight to see, but the beauty of these shotguns is more than skin-deep. Precision machining keeps the action completely closed - dirt and debris doesn't get into the receiver, reducing wear and maintenance, while manual extractors provide a smooth, effortless operation of the action. Precision-made, easy to handle and just as easy on the eyes, the Reserve Series™ provides an outstanding over-and-under at an outstanding price.

I ordered this gun on a Monday afternoon from Buds and had it two days later from my FLL dealer. I've been very pleased with all the guns I've purchased from Buds and would recommend them for new comers to the company. My one tip for a new purchase is to choose a FLL dealer already set up with Buds, it will save time and you’ll get your gun much faster. After a lot of research in the entry level O/U market I decided to purchase the Mossberg Silver Reserve Sporting 12ga. I have put 150 rounds through the gun at the skeet range and I’m very pleased with the way it shoots. The gun comes very stiff out of the box and requires a good cleaning prior to shooting. The more you shoot and clean this gun, the more it will loosen up and perform. The fit and finish is very nice, but keep in mind it’s not a $1500 Beretta or Browning. Overall for the price and quality I would recommend this gun to any shooter. I can’t say I shoot any better with my Beretta O/U than with this gun. If you can only have 1 gun and have the money, buy the Beretta or Browning. This is coming from someone who shoots a case of shells every weekend. For the money it’s probably one of the best O/U in its class.

Great Gun......Great Shooter........ For the price, you can't go wrong.
Had a problem with the latch on the forearm, Mossberg sent a new one in no time.
