Remington 700 SPS Synthetic VAR 223 LH 26 - Blue/Black, 26" Barrel, Synthetic, Fixed Stock

Excellent firearm, accurate quality made. Don't know if we'll see these produced again after Remington's reorganization would definitely buy again.

Very accurate right out of the box. Unfortunately I had to return it to Remington for repair. It had a broken ejector . Remington paid for everything.

I bought two of these, a 223 & 22-250 I love these rifles ,very heavy but tack drivers ,no problems with failure to feed on either of them .

My son is a lefty and I shoot right handed so buying him a left handed bolt rifle was a big deal to him. I looked around the internet for a 223 lefty and kept coming up empty handed. I tried Buds and kicked myself for not coming here first. Rifle was received in perfect condition, which is what I've come to expect from Remington and Buds. The 1:12 twist seems to like 50-55 grain bullets, but also groups the 40 grains pretty decent. Anything heavier and she just wasn't built for that. I was worried I might have to buy an after market trigger but Remington's is crisp and exactly what I was hoping for. My only bit of advice is to maybe get the split picatinny scope ring mounts. I bought the one piece and even though loading one bullet at a time works well, trying to fill the "belly" with cartridges is a bit tricky with the rail running over the top. Small complaint and my fault. Other than that, this rifle is a winner.
