I bought 2 of these for my son and I. I gave him the 28" model, and I got a 26" barrel for myself. We've had them several years, and they work great. Metal has a good black finish, with the gold Weatherby logo scrolled on the side (that is starting to fade), it is a fairly light shotgun, and adorned with beautiful wood, something that I cherish on a shotgun. It's well worth the money. My only complaint is of my own doing. The 26" barrel is great for hunting over dogs and fast close-in work, like rabbits, but I wish I'd gotten the 28' barrel also.

This is a nice gun. Good quality and shoot realy nice. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice pump shotgun.

Best shotgun for your money out there on the market. Just as good as any 870 or mossberg 500 if not better. Don't take my word for it. There are many bad reviews out there on this pump, but the one I got from buds was flawless. Took it out the following week and every round I gave it went BANG. Highly recommend this pump for anyone new to shooting or their first shotgun. Seriously you can't go wrong with the weatherby pa 08. Fit and finish is awsome. Action is smooth as butter. You get the point, go get yourself one.

Website was absolutely flawless, ordering was a breeze, and it was shipped and in my hands in no time flat. Buds came through with flying colors and was way above my first expectations. This wetherby was the first firearm I have ordered online and was very skeptical at first. The shotgun was cherry right out of the box. Not a nic, scratch, or smudge on the gun. Gave it a quick clean and run through as i do with any new firearm. Took it out the next week and worked it in hard with some trap shooting with 2 3/4, 7 1/2 bird shot. 2 hours and 2 and a half cartons of shells later, not one miss fire, jam, or missed clay. Took it home ran a few rags through it and little to no residue in the action and barrel. This shotgun in my belief can match up to any of the higher dollar shotguns out there! Love the gun, love the site and will be repeating business from here on out!

LOVE this shotgun-- took awhile to decide on a 12 g shotgun but finally went with this after seeing it at a gun show and finding it cheaper brand new here at buds. Shot every type of shell from buckshot to slugs and accurate to 25 yrds with literally point and shoot. Recoil very manageable with comfy buttstock and wood finish brought good comments from others at the range. Easily breaks down for cleaning. LOVE it!

This gun runs 2 3/4" and 3" shells fine. Nice wood on the Upland, very smooth action, comparable much more expensive pump actions. The action feels like its on ball bearings after a couple hundred rounds. I was between this and the Winchester SXP and after handling them both at a local big box store I decided to go with the Weatherby. Couldn't be happier. The design is rather unique as compared to the other popular shotgun mfg's. The design has less moving parts which equates to a more robust, more reliable firearm. All around I'd recommend this over other shotguns in the price range. I've used mine so far for skeet/trap/5 stand only and look to get some dove and quail in the next season. Stay safe everyone!
