Absolutely love this rifle. This is my first AR. I put About 120-140 rounds of 55gr american eagle 223 and 1 mag full of federal 55gr hollow points the first day i got it fresh out the box with no problems. The HandGuard does have slight side to side rotational movement not sure if that's something to be expected but love the rifle none the less. This is my 3rd purchase from Buds with no problems.

I've owned a few AR's over the years and wanted to buy this X platform to add to my collection. Upon receiving it, I could tell it was built a little more LE/Mil spec than others. The handguard covers were a little finicky to install but they look nice and certainly block the grooves of the handguard. All in all, I would definitely purchase this AR again and I'm happy with the first 300 rounds this week.

This is my first AR-15. Arrived in a timely manner. I was kept apprised of the ship tacking all the way through delivery to my FFL. After learning as much as I could about operating the weapon, I took it to the range and shot 60 rounds using the mag supplied With the gun and an after market mag. I didn't have one misfire. Very smooth shooting. Trigger did not feel stiff. Watching a lot of tutorials helped make the first experience easy. I need to adjust the front sight. Another excellent buying experience with Bud's.

I may have got the last 1 ordered after 2012 elections but before Sandy Hook What a sweet rifle I think this should be the weapon of the state militias should they need to be formed. My second purchase from Buds and have no problems with them. The rifle took 2 weeks to process and ship but I feel lucky to have received it at all.

This was a fantastic purchase. Can't beat the price if you're patient. It took about 2 weeks to finally get it but considering the holiday season and current demand for firearms I'd say it was acceptable. The gun is spot on, perfect. Bud's is about 200 dollars under MSRP by S&W. The local shop here wanted a grand, on black Friday for a bare bones stripped down sport model. No thanks. This purchase didn't come with a S&W magazine though, it was a new in package PMAG 30. I will continue to do business with Bud's most definitely. I've already got my eyes on a S&W 686, I was shocked when I compared Bud's at 690.00 to Gander Mountain at 850.00, which would be closer to 900.00 after the tax addition. My only wish is one day I'd get a 3 day surprise on shipping like some guys claim.

Buying this was my first purchase from Bud's and it turned out to be a fantastic purchase. This was also my first AR-15 and I finally decided on this one based on cost and S&W's reputation. My first time out firing it the rifle was spot on as I was able to easily group my shots at 50 yards using the steal sites. The gun is well made, easy to handle, and is a beauty. Buying this as my first AR was money very well spent. Plus, Bud's had outstanding service, so the entire purchase was great. You will not be disappointed in buying this rifle.
