This Smith has a beautiful nickel finish. It looks nothing like a stainless gun. The finish is smooth with now flaws. The action of the hammer as precise as a Swiss watch. The trigger pull took me by surprise. It is the smoothest double action pull I have ever felt in a revolver. The single action pull takes a smooth little tap. This revolver functions so well it gives you a fighting chance vs. an automatic. The balance is super perfect. The sights are nice claer white outline rear with blaze orange insert front. I have never had a revolver with such a smooth trigger pull, excellent balance and clean sights. I might start carrying this one. I now feel a made a good move and spent the extra money on a Smith & Wessson. In fact what is your life worth to you. The 29-10 classic is the way to go for hunting and protection.

Took this the range finally. Was nto in a hurry cause the cost of amo is so expensive compared to my 9mm's and .22's but after firing this thing at teh range I want to go back more often with it. A little problem sighting it in cause the sights won't go high enough without the screw comng out but after compensating for point of aim to where it actuallly hit the target I was hitting the little red dot like never before! I have a .22 competition shooter 3 9mm's semi auto's and a 45 semi auto and 2 rifles besides this revolver.next to my rifles this is the most accurate gun I have! Great trigger! Anyone who bought these back in the dirty Harry days and was affraid to fire it so never did are nuts. I have a very low recoil Beretta PX4 storm .45 and another Beretta PX4 9mm and both of those have more felt recoil than this .44 magnum. it took me 50 rounds to adjust my aim for the sights and I was on the red dot with the tightest groups I've ever had at 35 feet with 6 rounds. each round was right on top of the last. I actually shot this thing accurately with one hand! At first when my bud put up a little 8 inch target I was a little apprehensive that I would even hit the target and thought I'd be spending the day at 20 feet! LOL but after 6 rounds at 20 feet I ran it out to 35 then 50. I am sold on revolvers now. Good quality that is my buds revolver is a 357 taurus and I fired his and it doesn't even come close to this S&W.

Picked up my S&W M29 Classic 44M yesterday at Buds. The relvover was exactly as shown. The diamond checkered walnut grips are rich in color and feel great while holding the gun. The birght nickel finish is outstanding and flawless. The balance of the gun is close to perfect. This is an awsome gun for a great price. Thanks Buds!
