I bought this for self defiance, nice carry gun, shoots strait,no problem with it at all.

This S&W m&p rides my nightstand every night it. It is that good as she will go bang every time you pull the trigger and after putting about 300 rounds through her. This S&W is very accurate and yes the trigger could be better but I am used to it so I will not be putting a apex trigger kit in it as the trigger is fine for me and here at Buds the price is right so buy one today and you will be glad you did. One other thing the rails are super tough in this pistol as well and the frame will not bend.

After two trips to the range I really like this gun. I feel it is reliable, accurate and would make a very good CCW. I really like the "1911" feel in the hand and the fact that it comes with 3 back straps so you can easily customize it to your particular grip size. Bud's purchase and service was great - as usual. What I don't like about this gun is the fact that it comes with two 9 and 1/2 round magazines! At first, I thought it must be me because I could not get the 10th round to load in either magazine. After reading about this issue on the net some individuals felt that the springs would probably loosen up over time. So, I completely compressed the spring/follower on one magazine over 1000 times. After all that the 10th round would still not go in. Others on the net said it won't go in unless you use an Uplula loader. Then I found utube videos that showed how to shorten the magazine spring and the follower legs to allow the 10th round to load. Bottom line is - had I known about this issue I doubt seriously that I would have purchased this gun. I have never encountered this problem with any of the Beretta, Glock or Sig double stack magazines that I have. And don't think for one minute that S&W is not aware of this issue because some of the posts I found complaining about it went back several years. So, potential M&P buyers - if you are satisfied with 9 rounds or like the idea of having to carry a tool around to load your magazines to their design capacity then so be it. For those of you who are not - consider this my heads up.

Never an issue dealing with Buds. I learned a lesson this go round.. Just pay the extra 3% for using a credit card vs the 7 day ACH wait. As for the M&P 45f- I love the look of these pistols. It came packaged in a blue S&W hard case with 2-10rd magazines. I field stripped it, and noticed red paint on the recoil spring. I'm assuming S&W uses a color system to know what spring goes in what firearm. It uses the same holsters as the M&P 45c. I haven't shot it yet, but I've previously owned the M&P 9 and 45c, and they were awesome. I expect nothing less than the same from this purchase.

This was my first purchase through Bud's and I have to say I was very impressed after a horrible experience and canceling my order with another website. I received immediate feedback within minutes of my purchase and several more e-mails followed, letting me know the status of my order. Added bonus is Bud's "Make an Offer" option. I saved nearly $150 over anything I can find locally. I went to my FFL to pick it up, took it home and cleaned it, then took it out for it's first rounds down-range. Coming from a G26, it took a few rounds to get dialed in, but once I did, I was only hitting the "X" ring. I love the feel, the balanced weight, and the recoil. Could not be happier! I'm definitely switching my business to Bud's.

UNDERATED GUN!!! Recoils like a 9mm!! Fit & Finish is Excellent!! Fired 1st 100 rounds ZERO problems. Accurate, Mean Looking, & a PLASURE TO SHOOT!! It also has the new improved trigger with the tactile reset! It is a GREAT option for carry! 10+1 rounds of GOOD OLE USA MANSTOPPER!! Smith Did a Great Job on this gun!!

Awesome pistol! Only issue which was experienced by many other M&P owners is that the front sight paint started to chip. No big deal though as I just painted it my own custom color and am looking to put night sights on it now. I have fired over 1,000 rounds through this gun without a single malfunction. The recoil is minimal and the gun is accurate! I also carry this fairly easily for those of you who may be thinking about it. I am 5'9" and it easy to carry. GREAT GUN!
