Not sure where the price is coming from. This is one of the most fun guns to shoot. You can plink all day long for a few dollars. Great target gun - very accurate. Sleek looking too. 10/22 platform is awesome!!

Love it! The only complaint I have is it is too easy. Yes a little boring to shoot. Have found that first time shooters can do very well with it and it takes the intimidation out of the first experience. I use it to shoot the bulls eye out of my targets before I take them down.

Great gun, lots of fun. Put a composite stock and a green laser on it, it's deadly, shot 4 copperheads last fall with one shot each. Love this gun.

This a fun and great little pistol, my new favorite range toy. It eats federal bulk ammunition with no FTF or FTE's to be seen. More accurate than a pistol, more portable than a rifle and could be tossed in a backpack.

Just got this gun yesterday. Put a red dot on it and fired a couple of hundred rounds through it. Had two fail to load but were both out of the same clip so can't say whether it was the gun or a dirty clip. After 20 rds had it shooting 2" patterns at 50yrds. I have the same imperfections on the stock as noted in other reviews but its hardly noticable. Overall I'm happy with the gun. Its a blast to shoot and rds are very inexpensive compared to my AR. I recommend the gun. Got it from buds a week after I ordered it.

This pistol is fun for the whole family. The service from Buds was great. Gun shipped out less than 24hrs from final payment being made. The pistol looks good, fun to shot and draws a lot of attention. I would give it 41/2 stars only because of the two very small imprecations in the lamented wood stock. There were not scratches so I didn't mind. Very cool looking. Once again another great purchase from Buds.

The New Ruger "Charger" is certainly no firearm to go after a Polar Bear - With, but if its a nasty ole Tin-can or Varmint its the firearm for doin the jod = IN STYLE! Mine has a Tasco BKRD-42 "Red Dot" Scope, set for 100 yrds distance, thanks to my fine tuning with a Bushnell Laser Bore Sighter. And I can - even if not an expert shot, put 5-shots into a half-dollar size group at 100 yard distances - fairly easy! All in all - Ruger has made another fine gun, with some Attitude - I'd Say, judging by the Chargers - Looks & Designs as a table-top firearm for the Shooter on a Budget. Just add several more 10-round magazines and a few hundred rounds of 22's and your day at the range is gonna be a BLAST! COMPLAINTS ... If I had any suggestions for how Ruger -could improve this fine little pistol, it would be to add a "Hand Grip" - Butt Plate! Or maybe a set of Swivel Mounts for a Shoulder Carry - Sling!! ........ When shooting off table tops, the grip can be scratched ( thus why I added a stick-on furniture pad ) to protect my gun. .... At Least Till The After Market uys - come out with a fancy Grip Pad - Plate??? .... Or RUger Adds one = HINT HINT!..... (;-)) Wm. Zumwalt - avid Hunter & Plinkster.

Excellent shorter version of the classic 10/22. I bought a couple of 25 round hi cap magazines for mine along with some other things from tactical innovations(great site). Even the bulk ammo fires in this which is great because my ruger mark3 has troubles. This is so much fun to shoot, I put a red dot scope on mine.
