Hi all. I received my Rossi single shot .410 and it is just as described. It is well made and very light. It is a dream to carry hunting and I enjoyed shooting it yesterday 12/17/14. I know a .410 shotgun is a short range gun when used to take wild game so I limited myself to about 30 yards or less...after I missed the one squirrel I saw at about 40 yards.

I like the solid lockup and I like the ejectors over extractors. I fired both 3" and 2 1/2" and both ejected easily...and far. If you save empties for reloading let them pop out where you can find them.

All in all I like the shotgun. I cannot be more pleased and i am sure most who buy this little gun will like it too.

I bought this shotgun a little over a year ago and i can't be happier. I shoots everyrthing I feed it-US plastic-hulled buckshot and slugs as well as birdshot and Russian steel-hulled buckshot and slugs. The only problem I noticed with the Russian ammo is that if you shoot a lot in a short period of time, the chamber gets hot, the case swells and may not eject. I had to drop a section of cleaning rod down the barrel to pop it out. This only happened once. With buckshot and slugs at short range, this shotgun is very accurate. It is one of my primary home defense weapons and lives in my living room within easy reach
