Rossi USA Single Round 12 Ga. w/23" Blue Slug Barrel/Synthetic St - 23" Barrel, 1 Round

Pretty terrible. The finish on the barrel is down right embarrassing. Very patchy and blotchy. The gun would not pattern at 50 yards with sabots, and the mount for the rail broke free of the barrel after the third shot. I've sent the gun back to Taurus holdings (parent company of Rossi). Their service department seems pretty disorganized and I've received a letter that it will be 12 weeks until the gun is repaired. I guess I can see why this model was discontinued.

Picked up from my FFL a few days ago and was very pleased for what I wanted. I knew this was a "lower end" weapon so I was not expecting 5* finish or a $1000 gun. While the description is wrong, this is a single shot 12ga rifled slug gun with iron sights. It comes with a rail and has synthetic stock with a cheek riser. I will be removing the rail and riser as I want to use the iron sights. The gun arrive in typical Rossi form and needed cleaned, there is a bit of roughness on the forgrip but nothing extreme and I don't see a need in smoothing it out, it's in a spot I won't be touching. I got this gun to put on my airboat as a heavy cover hog gun, that may get totes to a deer stand once in a while. It is built like a tank and is super tight all around. Took it to the range and at 50 yards every group was touching with irons. At 100 sub 2" was normal with one brand giving consistent 8" groups. Either way where this will be used I doubt I will be shooting anything over 50 yards. I did have to adjust the sight, which I expect on new guns, but this one was way off. However overall I am very pleased with what this gun is going to be used for. Warning, it is a light gun and kicks like a mule, however I did try some reduced recoil sabots and got decent groups all the way around with pleasant recoil. I recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable slug gun. However if your looking for a $1000 single shot this is not for you. Buds was great as always and had the gun to my FFL in 12 days (ordered late Saturday and arrived on a Thursday)

This was my first firearm purchase from Buds. Fast shipping and gun appeared to be in great shape. However, after getting it home and ordering a scope and rings for it, I noticed that the scope mount rail that came on the gun was slightly bent. My FFL dealer and myself inspected the gun, but failed to notice the bent mount. I couldn't tell until I had the scope on it and then I could notice the scope on an angle. With a straight-edge against the side you can see the bend. Other than that, the gun is an awesome purchase. VERY nice gun for the price!

For the price it can not be beat! These guns are the most accurate right out of the box! Thanks to buds guns again! The price is right' the lowest around there hard to beat. Thanks buds guns!!!!!
