Great 1911 for the price. Fired over 1000 rounds of varying weights (230 and 185) and bullet types (FMJ an HP) with zero malfunctions on first range outing. Accuracy was spot on right out of the box and sights, trigger and ambi-safety all functioned smoothly!

Over all this is a very good handgun. It shoots very well out of the box. The only changes I made was to replace the sights to fiber optics on the front.

My first 1911. Had to work in the mag release, but once I did, I took it to the range for a function test. Felt great to shoot, and didn't have a single problem. Perfect budget 1911!

Got this 45 a few years back. Shoots with or better than my kimber. 1/2 the $. I put some packmire grips on and painted the front sight blade. Love this one. Shoots everything I’ve put in it. 1000+ rounds. 5 stars on it for value. You don’t have to spend $1000 to get something that shoots good.

Great 1911. Very versatile and easy to personalize. Have not gone to the range yet. But can't wait. As usual Bud's is the best.

Well I received it in a timely manner. No delays whatsoever. The fit and finish is fantastic I can’t complain about anything. So far I’ve put 250 rounds through it and I haven’t had any issues with reliability but it shot a little to the left which wasn’t that hard to fix.

For the price this has been the best .45 1911 I have fired. It is smooth accurate and easy on the grip. The sights are very easy to acquire with the help of a little white paint and were dead on at purchase. Have shot over 700 rounds of 230 gr. and have had no stove pipes, FTF's, FTE's or fails to go into battery. P.S. I've shot many 1911's since 1968 (you all remember that place) and this has been the smoothest most accurate one. I can say it is very easy to strip and clean. loves frog lube.

I've had this for just over 2 years. It has proven itself to be very reliable, even after 5000 rounds. I plan on getting another in the near future. It's a great value for the amount of pistol you get. Very nice.

This Citadel .45acp M1911 A-1 is a great gun. It's the first gun I ever purchased for myself and am very happy with the purchase. I previously had to sell my first gun purchased and wanted to re-purchase my first gun for sentimental reasons as well as for other reasons. I was very happy to find it on Buds Gun Shop for more than 50% lower price than when I first purchased I am very thankful for what I found.
