Very nice out of the box. Scope is very basic but works fine. Love the 30-06 power.

This was my first gun order from Bud's and it was a very smooth process. I will definitely be ordering again. The gun itself is very nice for the money. The scope is basic, but for my son's first rifle it will do. I haven't shot it yet, so i will post again after. Thanks Bud's.

Once again, this is the third weapon in the last few months that I have bought through Bud's Gun Shop. I highly recommend Bud's Gun Shop and plan on purchasing more weapons as funds allow, My new Marlin 30-06 Bolt Action Rifle with Scope are very nice, and I am totally satisfied with the purchase. Fit & finish are great too.

Took a little bit of time to sight the scope in it was way off but after that it shoots like a dream especially after installing a bi pod. I originally was going to purchase the axis but after shooting both the marlin is far superior especially the the trigger . The bolt is smoother and I don't have to worry about the clip falling out. Plus added bonus it has a much better scope

Had zero issues, arrived in great condition as described. Bought 03/13 but just got around to shooting and sighting it in. Zero failures and easy to zero in and hold. Had tight groupings with 180gr Winchester @ 25 yards

Gun fires nice but not too friendly with Korean Surplus ammo. Everything else fires fine. Biggest issue was the scope was WAY off at 100 yds but I'm sure I probably got "that one" out of the bunch. Scope is zeroed in and no problems since. Good gun, I would definitely buy from Buds again.

Excellent rifle for the money it really outdoes both the savage axis and remington 770. When it comes to these types of "budget guns" this Marlin is tough to beat, the scopes not terrible but not the greatest either. This is really a light shooting gun, recoil is absorbed very well. Trigger is great and easy to adjust (accutrigger knock off.) For about $400 bucks this is a helluva gun... oh and its a top load only. That's a preference for some, a deal breaker for others. And for all you poor souls in the people's republic of kalifornia it's a way around that draconic law that may pass in your state banning all detachable magazines from ALL RIFLES. No detachable mag so you're good to go. PS get a boresighter or have someone help you sight this one in, UPS isn't the most delicate with their deliveries so the scope may be a little outta wack, mine was but i had a laser boresighter and 140 rounds later we're still ringing gongs at 300 yards.

This gun goes BOOM. Fit and finish are nice given the low price. I was pleasantly surprised at the relatively low recoil and accuracy of the scope straight out of the box. First shot was at a 2liter bottle from 30 yards and that thing exploded like you wouldn't believe! Can't wait to get this sighted in and start cooking venison.
