Rifle shot great. Held true sub MOA with four different factory ammo loads. Feels good when shouldered and handles nicely. Pick your favorite caliber and you will not go wrong with the new Winchester Model 70 rifles. 5 out of 5 in my book.

I ordered my Model 70 Featherweight for Christmas 2012. I received the gun in time despite the historical volume of orders. The stock has decent Walnut. It is not absolutely astounding, but decent. The blueing is deep and even. The action is smooth and the only real issue I could find is that the 2nd position on the safety has a bit of play. The MOA trigger is absolutely awesome for an out of the box trigger. It is about 4.5lbs with no creep and little overtravel. It is a bit difficult to adjust because you have to remove the action from the stock and the screws are glued from the factory. After firing about 40 rounds at the range, I found the gun to have good accuracy. I had about 1.5 MOA at 100 yards with Winchester 180gr ammo. Overall, Winchester has put out a great gun and I look forward to a lifetime of use out of it. Also, Bud's did a great job and made the order as easy as possible.
