As a woman, I have been incredibly pleased with this firearm. It is purse/conceal size and not extremely heavy. It does have a semi-strong kickback - so in target shooting it will wear out the hand fairly fast, but it's perfect for carrying around everyday. Never had an issue with it and I've had it for 10+ years. Highly recommend!

Great gun!! Buds did a great job in shipping super fast. I bought this for my wife BUT I may have to get one for myself as well. The trigger is AWESOME! I did not expect that from a Ruger. Super light and throw it in your pocket and you forget it is there. The Crimson Trace grips are worth the extra money IMHO. This gun is very accurate with every 38 load I put through it. It does smack you a little with +P rounds BUT I don't plan on shooting them all that much. Mostly light training loads and the hot stuff for duty carry. The only negative.... THE FRONT SIGHT IS ALL BLACK AND USELESS UNLESS YOU ARE SHOOTING AT A POLARBEAR!! What the heck Ruger?? I ordered a XS front sight and I will update after shooting with the new sight.

This Ruger LCR is fun to shoot, I had to add some extra padding to the Crimson Trace Grip and that took care of the way it recoils back in my hand (hand not sore after I shoot it).Crimson Trace Grip needs more more padding back there for the recoil like the Hogue grip has but the Ruger LCR is a very nice revolver thank Buds

Dynamite CW! Very light + VERY accurate. Exhibits 'more than normal' kick/recoil due to its compact size but, at 13.5 oz. weight, proves more than compensatory! Recommended for all CW permit holders and, especially female shooters.

This is a great revolver for concealed carry. It's extremely light at 13 oz., and it fits with ease into a coat or jacket pocket. The laser sights in easily, and the gun is ridiculously reliable and accurate up to 50 feet using just a laser sight picture. I've fired about 150 rounds through it, including about 30 rounds of Golder Saber +Ps and Wichester DPXIs, 50 rounds of Magtech 158 gr and 50 rounds of UMC 130 grain. Be prepared, this things kicks and snaps like a mule if you've only fired 1911s and service sized pistols before like me. The laser grip recoils considerably more than the Hogue Tamer grip, and it tore up the base of my right thumb in the webbing area. Once I practiced holding it a bit differently, getting more of my left palm in on the grip to help absorb some of the recoil, I was much more comfortable. It just takes some getting used to because it is, after all, a very light weight CCW, and for that purpose it is perfect, especially with the laser grips. Excellent carry revolver that I recommend highly.

i have had the LCR5 with Crimson Trace for several months. I bought it for my wife, but i take it with me most times to the range with my other pistols. it is a unique and fun gun to shoot. the laser makes it more fun. i am very pleased with the Ruger and it is a quality firearm. it is light and easy to handle. the trigger is perfect. After forty or fifty rounds, your hand might feel it, but it is meant to be a light weight carry weapon. I am happy with the pistol and would buy it again.

The previous product review was NOT from me. The Ruger LCR is a great gun. Good for CCW. My wife loves it and I will probably have to purchase another gun soon. Bud's has great prices and delivery. I would definitely purchase from them again.
