Absolutely flawless function. Using cheap low brass 2 34/4 #6 birdshot to break in but has been 100% reliable through the first 100 rounds. However, the plastic stock is horribly finished. The recoil pad and spacer does not fit flush with the rest of the stock which looks like crap. I will be replacing it with an ATI adjustable stock so I am not really concerned with it. Secondly, the finish is not the greatest and looks like some sort of parkerizing and it scratches very easily. Once again not overly concerned as I will be having it Cerakoted soon. Will make an outstanding three gun shotgun once I get all the kinks hammered out.

Put a truglo ghost ring sight on it that didn't work out too well, but the shotgun itself works great. Does seem to like high brass better for bird shot. Had no problem with 00Buck.

Excellent, cycles with all target loads. Even though it has a short barrel it shoots clays well.

Buds Delivery was quick and as promised. With that said I have had nothing but problems with this shotgun. Wont feed wont eject and even double fired. I'm either sending back to CZ or throwing it in the garbage. What a stinker. Only bad gun I have ever got from Buds.

Great service from Buds once again! Fired about 15 2 3/4in slugs and 15 3in 00buck before I ran some Winchester Universal 1 1/8oz 8 shot. Heavy loads ran perfect. Started to get FTE and some FTF though on the Winchester after about 15. Didn't clean gun before I shot it so that is probably why. Other than that, when I bought the gun it was advertised as not having chokes that come with it but I got all 5 with mine. Very thankful for that. Gun has a good weight, not light like other polymer stocked guns I have. Love the chrome. Kicks like a mule, much more than my friend's Stoeger (also Turkish) semi auto, but probably because of the quality of the butt stock padding. Easy to take out the plug and easy to assemble. I suggest you pick this gun up, incredible price for the value, and just check out the reviews of it out there on the web. Once this baby is worn in I expect no problems with it feeding light loads.

I purchased this shotgun about two months ago. It is very impressive, cycling every time quite smoothly. I have put around 200 shells through it without any issues at all. This was my first semi-auto shotgun, and I could not be happier. I purchased mine when it went on sale for $363. It does have two drawbacks: (1) there are very few secondary market accessories or parts, and (2) it is made in Turkey for CZ. However, I do not care if it was made in Turkey; I purchased it because CZ has ethos for their quality. This shotgun has not disappointed.

Great value - love this firearm and Buds is a very good supplier. I was OK with the fact the chokes were no long supplied with the firearm, as I wanted extended chokes for ease of change over and it lengthens the barrel. Gun looks great and very happy with how it shoots, shot trap loads, High power loads, & buckshot. Cycled fine no failures to operate. I did try to buy some extra O Rings from CZ to have on hand for the gas system and they never responded to me. Found the right size at my locale hardware store and also a military surplus store, which solved that issue. I highly recommend both CZ and Buds.

Got my CZ 712 Utility a while back--assembly was easy following instructions----finally got out in the pasture to test fire and very dissapointed----low brass---2 7/8 dram 7 1/2 shot will not cycle. Dove hunting today and using 3 1/4 dram 7 1/2 shot cycled good ---no ftf and got a few birds. The 712 is a fun gun to shoot, light, not much recoil and reaches out n gets um. After reading several reviews and upgrading my loads have a shotgun that will be my bird and whatever gun for a long time. Thanks agin Buds.

Another great purchase from Bud's. After reading many reviews on semi-auto shotguns, I decided to go with the CZ712. It has performed flawlessly. I own a few CZ products and all of them are great. You will not be disappointed in this shotgun.

The gun is great. nuff said. The only bad ting was that Bud's did not inform me that the guns that they ship do not come with a choke tube wrench or the full array of choke tubes. The gun only comes with a ex. Full choke and a modified choke. Still a great gun and that's why it gets five stars. But it would be nice of Bud's to update their site.
