everybody needs at least one cowboy gun....and i made a great choice picking this one up from Buds..quality is great.. gun shoots very good and accuracy is great

I purchased two of these Taylor's & Co. 357 Smoke Wagon Deluxe 357 Magnum revolvers in September 2019. I was impressed with the smooth action, light hammer and tuned trigger that I decided to purchase another pair for my wife to shoot in Cowboy Action Shooting in January 2020. The customer service and shipping at Bud's is outstanding. Buds is now my #1 firearm dealer.

Taylor's & Co. Smoke Wagon Cattleman 357 Magnum. (2) Excellent revolver as expected. will use these handguns for Cowboy Action Shooting. Very Happy! The only exception with Bud's policy is their $12.00 insurance charge. I have purchased firearms from other companies and have not paid an insurance charge. Isn't that the shipping retailers responsibility?

I ordeed a matched pair of these Taylors .357 Pistols from Buds on Wednesday and picked them up from my FFL on the following Monday. Buds got them shipped to me very quickly. I have not had a chance to shoot them yet due to cold weather but I am very pleased with the way these guns are put together. The assembly fit and case-herdened finish is excellant. I love the fine Taylors-tuned 2lb triggers. I am used to shooting Ruger Blackhawks so it may take a little time to get used to the Uberti hammer / firing pin system used on these pistols. No more dry firing like I did on my Rugers. I purchased these pistols to use in local Cowboy Action matches this coming season. I already have a Winchester case-hardened 1873 rifle in the same caliber and just recently ordered a new CZ 1878 case-hardened Hammer Coach shotgun from Buds to complete my set.

Its not the colt clone you advertise hammer has only 3 clicks not 4 ! Gun shoots well though thanks buds guns

Short grip, guess I have big hands, some what hard to wrap both hands around. Had to replace the base pin, did not get a response back from the manufacture when contacted about the issue. Found a replacement from Belt Mountain and it works great.

Pistol arrived with a scratch on the frame under the Gate pointing to factory mishandling, I accepted it and came to terms this is a beautiful gun, it has it all, fit finish and performance, smooth action and trigger, great accuracy, its a hard one to put down love this gun

A masterpiece. My new Taylors Smoke Wagon Deluxe in .357 couldn't be better. Butter smooth action, tightly fit components, beautiful frame and grip, right balance between strength and elegance.. The quality of this revolver exceeded my expectations, and I've had several comments from my local FFL staff including their gun smiths, about the quality, fit and finish of this revolver. Checkering on the grip does add just a little (not much) friction. The gun was originally a Uberti New Cattleman, but comparing that model at my local shop with the work Taylors and Co has done, you can really feel the difference (and quality). All parts have TC serial numbers and the barrel is marked both Taylors and Co and A Uberti. Timing is spot on and hammer positions (4 clicks) are firm. Trigger is just perfect, no take-up, and just enough weight so you have to intentionally pull, but there's no way to jerk the pistol. Cases extract easily and usually just fall out when the gate is open and barrel elevated. Again...couldn't be more pleased. I have no doubt this revolver will last beyond me.

This was the SAA I wanted and Buds delivered as described. Its a beautiful replica and shoots accurately with a light trigger as expected in the deluxe model from Taylor & Company. Unfortunately the special care supposedly applied to the deluxe models did not extend to the cylinder base pin which is impossible to remove. Apparently Taylor & Co didn't get around to dealing with this which according to online reports is not an uncommon problem with these guns. (Uberti guns not necessarily ones from Taylor & Co) Five stars for the look, feel, and accuracy. One star for a gun I will either have to send to Taylor & Co for fixing or figure out how to do it myself.

Wow...what a fine example of craftsmanship. I just inspected the item before taking possession of the firearm. I will run it through several boxes of ammo and give a followup after the showdown at the OK Corral...lol
