This should a non issue for Illinois. The ISP has stated handguards are not regulated. What we refer to as the handguard on an AR-15 whether it be a delta ring or free float is in fact a handguard. A Tec-9 and Uzi barrel shroud is quite literally what the ISP references as a shroud which is basically a barrel mounted heat shield.

It’s good. It isn’t heavy, it goes on easily, and it looks nice. It’s a quad rail. If you want one, this specific model won’t be disappointing.

This rail looks awesome on my AR-15 and it was so easy to install..it took about 2 min's. max. I love it. Bud's was awesome to deal with and they shipped it to me fast. Very satisfied with the service and product, there's no doubt I'll be a return customer.
