I bought this lttle rifle for my son as a bigger caliber medium range hunting rifle. Looked ok upon receipt. Nothing inside the box was wrapped or protected from the box internals. Brown cardboard fiber and paper shavings were all throughout the gun parts. Typical NAFTA manufacturing cuts. The trigger is the worst in the business. I worked on it for three days to get it field user friendly. All major parts are riveted in to prevent the owner from working on them--I was highly disgusted by now. After a good thorough cleaning, mounting a Pro Staff 3-9x40 in steel Durasight rings, and laser bore sighting, the gun turned in less than moa groups with cheap PPU 150 gr. soft points and Winchester Power Point 165's. Very good accuracy, and the recoil pad softened the push like a puppy playing. This was almost a good deal. Unfortunately, I never could get the plastic magazine follower and spring to let the rifle feed or load. I worked on them the entire time we were sighting in. To my knowledge, this was the first bolt action rifle I had ever owned that would fail to feed continuously. The only other one was again, a Mossberg 100 ATR with Accutrigger in .30-06 with the camo Deer Thugs stock that I won in a raffle. Lesson learned: I traded one for a xbow and sold the other with a cheap Weaver scope for a good profit thanks to Bud's great pricing. Five stars to them. No more than 1 star for the Mossberg.
