I love this gun. It's a sweet shooter of S&W 40. My glock-owning friends were quite surprised by how much they liked shooting it too. The Pro model adds a lot of value for the money. I really like the grippy backstrap and beaver tail. The trigger wasn't the greatest, but it got smoother with time. I'm not unhappy with it. It's been a very reliable gun, with no malfunctions after hundreds of rounds.

This MP 40 pro is an excellent hand gun , low recoil for a 40 cal , I have probably close to four hundred rounds through and the gun has been flawless , I experienced a problem with the mags a very annoying rattling noise when the mags were fully loaded inserted in the gun , but that didn't affect the gun performance, I send them back to Smith , and they will replace them , very nice gun overall.

Surprised me. Was most accurate pistol I have ever shot out of a box. No adjustments necessary. Came with a pro trigger and tritium sights. I added a bright lite on rail and will always have this pistol on the home front easy to grab. I couldo shoot 30 rounds in less than 30 seconds with time to add third mag. It likes to shoot fast.

The S&W M&P's have been notorious for having a bad trigger out of the box. But the Pro has really made some major adjustments to the trigger and it its a very shootable gun right out of the box. The trigger press it more crisp and has a better defined reset than the non PRO products. I have put a few thousand rounds through my M&P Pro and I have enjoyed using it very much. It is a full framed gun but it has the capacity of a 9mm but with a 40. It is well balanced and feel good in the hand. I would recommend this gun for any side carry use but I will warn anyone from thinking it will be easy to conceal, it is a full from and while it is possible to conceal, it takes some work to do so. Great gun, shoots well, cycles well, and is a big improvement over the original M&P 40.

If your on the fence, get off of it. This is a great pistol with ergonomics that fits my hand perfectly. The trigger is crisp and breaks like glass. The bore axis is low enough to tame the 40. Sights were dead on right out of the case. The best thing is how the pistol naturally points for my style of shooting. Smith & Wesson has always delivered over the years.

Very happy with this purchase. I've owned a M&P Shield for several years now, but have been wanting a full size for some time. I opted for this Pro model due to the enhanced trigger and night sights. I have shot a standard M&P in the past, and this trigger is better (not the best, but better). I placed the order on 1 October and received it 8 days later. Typical excellent service you've come to expect from Buds! I shot about 15 rounds and the gun needs no adjustment. I also like the fact that the grips are changeable. The gun now sits next to my bed loaded with some Hornady's, hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.

This is a great gun as is! Absolutely love the trigger very smooth w/a very short reset & for a .40 cal gun you get 15+1 what more can you ask for & Bud's makes it so easy especially if your FFL is on their list. Thanks Bud's you never disappoint

I am very impressed with the M&P Pro pistol I purchased from Bud's and I was able to get it at an awesome price! The handling and balance is great and the extra grip panels allow the user to quickly and easily change the profile in order to allow shooters of all hand sizes to get the perfect grip. The grip panels also have a rubberized texture which greatly helps with stability while firing. The night sights are an added bonus and are perfect for investigating the little things that go bump in the night. Disassembly/cleaning is a snap and the action and trigger are very smooth straight out of the box. Overall, I haven't had a single issue with the pistol since making my purchase, and as usual with Bud's, the ordering process was easy and shipping was quick. Thanks again Buds!
