Just received this rifle for my 8 year old son. I tried one shot first and it shot fine. My son tried cocking it - nothing. He tried again, cocked it but no clicks, nothing moved inside - just a free moving lever. Broke after one shot??? I may try to repair or may just trash it - not worth sending back to Daisy. Don't recommend this rifle - very disappointing.
