Topped this beauty with a Vortex. Haven't had the opportunity to really reach out past 300 yrds with it yet but so far is real accurate. When I first bought it, couldn't sight it in due to a mis-drilled scope mount straight from the factory. Appears there was a manufacturing error but Remington took care of it when I sent it in by replacing the receiver with the holes properly drilled. It's been a tack drive out to 300 and I really want to try the 600. Only wished it had a threaded barrel. Even with the mounting issues, I give it 5 stars. Shoots so smooth.

Splendid and accurate rifle purchased from Bud's back in 2013. Still works and looks like new. It now has a laminated thumbhole stock with a built aluminum bedding block plus a 5 ounce Timney trigger with no safety. Most of you will probably just keep the X Mark Pro trigger which is fine for hunting. Groups below 3/4" with most loads are always easy to get. I've shot several at 100 yards that were just one hole and measured below .3"ctc with good light handloads. If you want an accurate, simple American stainless .308 bolt that you can walk with, this is a great choice. Thanks, Bud's!

The rifle looks good. I did a little trigger work on the factory trigger, and it works quite well. The Stock was not so great, so I replaced it with an H&S. After load development, the rifle shoots Sub MOA. I'm pleased with rifle. It' my go-to rifle for 200 to 1000 yards target shooting. And yes, I have pegged a can of beer at 1,000 yards, using NCC 168's. After 1,000 rounds down the pipe, still functions perfect.

I bought this rifle wanting the barreled action. It looks and feels good so far but I am not to pleased with the stock or the trigger and both will be replaced. I have high hopes for it after i get it in an HS stock an put a timney in it. I wish remington would start producing the sendero SFii chambered in 308 like the good ole days. Until then ill piece one together with this.

I liked everything about this rifle when I was researching what to buy. Bud's had it for a great price so i did it. Sadly once I received the rifle and got it ready for the range, I found out that every round was sticking the bolt closed. Once I got a flashlight down in there to look I noticed a giant burr right where the lugs lock up when the bolt is closed. Kind of stinks to see such poor QC coming from Remington. I had been reading about this QC issue but thought it was an isolated acurrence. Remington did take it in for warranty work but I feel like I should have been given a new gun instead.

GREAT rifle at a GREAT price!! This is my first hunting rifle. After bore sighting I was able to dial in the scope very easily. Looking forward to taking it out again!!

recently purchased this at Bud's. Purchase was easy, transfer to a local FFL was easier than I ever thought it would be, rifle arrived in good shape. Ordered on a Sunday and arrived on a Friday during hunting season, not too bad. Mounted a good scope and tested three different loads of 5 round each…had two loads well under an inch at 100 yards and the other just over an inch. This is al prior to the barrel being broken in. I can only imagine it getting better from here. I am happy with the rifle and with Bud's service

I wanted a stainless fluted bull barrel with a grey/pepper laminate stock and nobody made a gun with all those features. I ordered this gun and replaced the stock with a boyds laminate and man what a beautiful rifle now. It feels perfect in my hands and is very accurate. It is rsther heavy for all day hunting but worth it. It does have issues feeding from time to time but i feel will correct itself with use. This is only reason for 4 stars vs 5.
