Great gun. Love the slim design, easy to conceal. Shot several rounds through it without a hitch.

Got the gun in 6 Days ago and picked it up from my FFL. First thing was took it down and looks great on inside barrel was blued and polished feed ramp. Mag went in and out clean. Both mags were easy to fill to limit of 6. I then took it to the range next day to see what it could do and sight it in. I used Federal 180gr value box of 100. With in 10 shots and the instructions for adjustable sites I had gun sighted in to my liking. Gun works very well and functions with everything I threw at it. To test I put in mix of 165 gr hp, FMJ to 180gr hp and then all the way down to low recoil 135gr federal Hydra Shock. Also used ammo by Remington, Winchester, and some CCI I found laying in bag for I don't know how long. It shot it all after about 70 total rounds no jams no fail to fire no double feeds gun just worked. This is truly a amazing firearm that Taurus has made. A great entry into compact market. If there is one thing I must say bad it is that it really hurts my hand to fire. After my session my right hand web between thumb and index finger was red and stayed that way for few hours. Even with low recoil federals it was still kind of painful. Other than that gun is amazing had it sighted in at 15 yards and hitting 3 shot groups around 2 inches in just 20 rounds. If you are looking for a great pocket gun or small waist gun this is it I believe.

First time to order from buds. Delivery was very fast, and the product is great, I ordered a 9mm Hi-point w/holster and am very happy with it. Have shot about 100 rounds through it and sited it in a little bit, No jams or anything, I will order again...

Bud's came through once again. i received the firearm on Wednesday and took it to the range on Thursday. I fired 100+ rounds winchester white box, ending with about my self defense rounds Harnady Critical defense. This weapon fired flawlessly without one single issue. I highly recommend this one. I ordered a Laserlyte RL-TS laser for this also. Bud's and Gurney your a class act. This is my 6th purchase and it wont be my last. God Bless.

well another wonderful experience with buds gun shop. ordered gun sometime last week and got it to my ffl in only two days wow! what great customer service this is my second gun in just over a month and i dont think i will buy a gun any where else. for the 740 slim, just love it so far, feels great can carry just about any where and shot so nice and smooth with no problems at all. the only thing is is that taurus soaks them in grease so make sure to clean first and it might just take a little longer the first time to to get all the oil out. great job buds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-

I love this pistol, it has replaced my LCP 380 as my carry weapon and I highly recommend most of Taurus' products. For the punch this puppy packs as well as the price I paid, it can't be beat!!!! This little gem fits in my hand perfectly and conceals very nicely. Buds had this shipped to my FFL in just about 36 hours from the time I ordered it. AMAZING!!! I really enjoy this pistol and I can't say enough about Bud's excellent customer service.

This is the third gun I've ordered from Buds and they've yet to let me down. I ordered it the day before Thanksgiving and recieved it the day after. Super quick shipping. As for the gun, I love it. I bought it as my primary carry gun and I can't even tell sometimes when I'm carrying. Super light but manages the .40 very well, and they don't call it the Slim for nothing. I would definitely reccomend this pistol to anyone looking for a good ccw pistol.

First purchase from Bud's, but definitely won't be the last. Unbelievably fast and professional. Just got the 740 slim and loving it so far. Taking it to the range tomorrow, and if it performs as well as it looks and feels, my glock 23 might get put on the back burner for a while.
