That said, the product requires a weaver rail and that part of the attachment DOES NOT allow unfettered view of the stock sights! The part number that you seek is WEAVER PART #49734! Those are the rings that attach directly to the top of a Ruger 1022 rifle. If yours has been drilled and tapped at the factory, the WEAVER #49734 is the one you want! Disclaimer - NOTHING WRONG WITH BUD'S GUNS! Ive been dealing with them for a decade or so. Don't be like me and get in a rush! The mistake I made was a $50 mistake.
