I've been wanting this gun and buds put it on sale so I had to grab it. Buds got it shipped out and into my waiting hands. Will being doing bidness with them again. Best sale price I've seen on the gp 100. Thanks buds!

Bought it in April and I've already sold it at a huge loss. It's end of June. The finish (black ,not blue, was horrible.). It had rust on it when it came out of the box, new. It had spots a 1/8 inch missing finish all together. Shame on me for accepting it. Initially I thought it was just on the hammer and trigger. It was bad, really bad inside. Yes, I could have and maybe should have sent it back to Ruger. However they finished it this bad new, I opted for a Ceracoated finish. It looked good and the rust was settled hopefully. Next came a timing issue. Not bad, but crap. I've never owned a gun this crappy. And I've even owned a GP100 previously, that was great. Not this one. Too bad because initially, I liked this rust bucket.

This gun is just great, a little heavy but a great revolver, I bought this a couple years ago and haven’t shot it that much until a few months ago and my wife and I have started going to the range, it is very accurate, the grip fits my hand well, has a good kick, kind of expensive but worth it, thanks Ruger and thanks Buds for a great product!

First time buying from buds, will again in the future. The pistol shoots great! However there were a couple issues with my revolver. The first thing I noticed was the grip was a little loose from the frame. No biggie except for the screw look had some chipping, again no biggie. The second thing I didn't notice until I took out my revolver to the range and was shooting left by about 7 inches at 7 yards away. Inspected the sights and the rear sight was way off center. Once again no biggie. That's why I give it 4 instead of 5.

ordered the pistol for my wife. She’s developed an affection for revolvers. The GP 100 was the perfect choice. I have an affection for Ruger so the choice was an easy one. It has a six inch barrel to help with the recoil. The single action leaves a light trigger for shooting consistent pattern. The double action is a little heavy but there is a noticeable sweet spot almost at the end of the hammer sweep to pause verify and squeeze. Very smooth action. She’s shooting tight patterns right out of the box. Excellent purchase and thanks to Buds for getting the pistol to my FFL very quickly. Three days. Couldn’t ask for a better buying experience!

Just because it’s not a smith doesn’t mean it isn’t worthy. Very well built, robust 357! Accurate and low recoil due to the weight. Run out of rounds, use it as a club
