I was skeptical about this gun at first. I must admit that. But, a skeet shooter at my shooting club bought one of the polymer stock versions (Model SB26) of the Girsan MC312, and I got to test it out. I instantly fell in love with the shotgun and had to get one for myself. This is a fantastic deal! Seriously...if you're in the need for an inertia driven shotgun...look no further! The Girsan MC312 is a Benelli-style inertia driven shotgun. The recoil assembly is in the stock, not the forend. So, the forend is sleek and slender, like a Benelli. This gun has all the bells and whistles that you'd expect in a Benelli, but for half of the price! It has a super slick action. This shotgun has an incredibly smooth action. The finish on the receiver is shiny and attractive. Spend the extra money and get the Turkish walnut version. It's worth the money. The wood is superb. The pictures don't do it justice. Really nice character in the wood! And, it has some decent checkering. The bolt, changing handle, safety, trigger, and lifter are chrome plated. The bore is chrome lined. It comes with 5 choke tubes and a choke wrench. The gun comes shipped in a hard plastic case. It has a nice, solid vent rib and an easy to see fiber optic front sight. And, it's not a cheap, cheesy front sight. You can easily pick it up when swinging the gun, tracking on a target. This gun is a great buy. Watch the YouTube videos. This gun shoots just as fast as you'll see in those videos. And, even though this gun is lightweight, the recoil is very manageable. No kidding. I'm looking forward to having a blast shooting this shotgun coming up at skeet competitions. Check out the Girsan MC312. You'll be glad that you did! This is the 5th gun from Buds and the service was great . All I can say about this shotgun is SWEET!!! I've ran 50 rounds of low brass and about a dozen #4s through it and shot and ran great . Very light on the shoulder. A very fine gun. If you're looking a auto 12 better hurry and grab one of these !

Ordered the Girsan with low expectations. After receiving it and giving it a good once over with my Frog products this shotgun turned out to be a pleasant surprise for a semi at this price point. It had no problems with cycling 2 3/4 00 buck. Very satisfied with this firearm.
