Overall, I like this gun. It has a nice feel and balance in my hand. I am not so thrilled about the heavy S&W trigger pull. It takes a bit of getting used to. In retrospect, I am not so sure that the long slide version adds enough to accuracy to compensate for its added length and increased difficulty in finding a holster for it.

Got this very quickly from Buds, night sights were bright and clear, this is my first plastic gun and I absolutely love it. Got it for 5" barrel mostly and to use in IDPA and 3 gun, and it is a fantastic pistol. Absolutely no complaints on product or service. Thank you buds.

this is my first gun with buds, my only complaint is that I purchased the buds vip deal and shortly after; it came back to anyone can buy it. I guess that's how they get you. I ordered it Saturday and it came Tuesday. I've shot the M&P 9 and 40. I already knew buying this gun would have a horrible trigger. I absolutely hate the triggers on the M&P line. I purchased this gun because I don't like what is in the C.O.R.E set up, and the Pro Series. I will be taking out the magazine disconnect safety and dropping in a Apex reset mechanism, Apex Fully machined sear, ultimate striker block, and the completion spring kit by APEX to give me about a 3lb trigger pull and a nice reset of barley nothing AND no nasty gritty trigger!!! for $137with shipping. The other reason why I purchased this gun is because S&W discontinued this L line, so I consider it rare, plus for $500 you get the 3 mags and night sights; cant beat that

Today I went to the shooting club to try my new S&W M&P 9L, shoot about 100 rounds with no FTF or FTE, flawless, all 3 magazines worked well, sights are easy to pick up, they glow nice at dark, only dislike is the trigger, to hard and gritty. This was my first purchase from Bud's and the service was Wonderfull, shipped item super Fast, and Great Price.
