The Dan Wesson Specialist Commander 9mm came in a solid molded case. It shipped with two magazines. The Duty Finish (black) has a classic look about it and was impeccable.
The pistol shot flawlessly out of the box and groups are very tight. The fit and finish of this gun amazing. The trigger is light and crisp. The ambi safety works nicely. Sights are very nice. I haven’t tried straight 8 in low light yet but I think they will work well. This gun shoots much better than I can! When I ordered this gun I intended to buy an heirloom quality piece. I got what I paid for. For me this was a lot of money to spend on a pistol. Once I shot it a few times I felt like I got a great gun for the money!
