This is my second Ruger 22 semi-auto. My first one is the 6 and 7/8 target mark 2. I put 45,000 rounds through it shooting competitions. This is a mark 3, ready for a scope. My son put 4 boxes of 550 through it with no problems. Back in the day, with the mark 2, my 6 year old son said "you can't miss this this pistol". I put a nice $100 reflex sight on the mark3, and after 2,200 rounds my now 16 year old son claims he still can't miss. But now I can actually start hitting the targets again. Buds is awesome. Ruger is awesome. My mark2 is 30 years old. All the grip screws were rusted from my sweaty hands. Ruger replaced them for free. Great gun. No Problems. As far as the mark 3, the slab side was more, and the SS was more. I wouldn't have it any other way. Awesome

All I can say is WOW. These guns are beautiful. I ran off about 250 rounds of CCI MiniMag through each of them the first day,,, One fail to eject is the only problem I had all day. These will make a greats set of dueling pistols,,, As soon as I make an old-timey case for them. Aarond

Outstanding pistol, fit and finish on mine was excellent. Accuracy and fun factor are superb. However, I feel the sight picture is a bit wide for what the pistol is capable of. I plan on mounting a pistol scope on mine to take care of that issue. Also, after a few sessions at the range my front sight post loosend up and my father's new Mark III had the same thing happen... you need to loc-tite your front sight screw with red loc-tite (blue didn't hold up). Disassembly is a bit of a pain, but watch the videos on ruger's website and you wont have a problem. Overall I can absolutely recommend this pistol, it looks and shoots fantastic.
