  A gun of this size should have a pretty mild recoil. Even with the hottest +P stuff shouldn't give you a hard time.

  Brian, these are essentially the same pistols. Quality, features and durability are identical as well as reviews. Whichever is lower priced at the time will be the best choice.

• Q: How does it compare to the 1911, as far as grip size. I have large hands and grip size and trigger location are important.

  Neil, this pistol has a 3 3/4 (full-size) Grip. The grip angle is nearly identical to the standard 1911 and will get you 95% the feel of a full size 1911.
• Q: How many magazines does this ship with? Are any other items included. Is it similar to the J-Gear kits?

  Pistol ships with two 15-round magazines in a hard plastic case. One in the pistol and spare magazine in the case. Also includes owners manual, warranty registration card. 2 brushes and cleaning rod and cable lock.

  Alexander, 9mm is commonly called 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, 9mm Nato. They are all the same physical cartridge.
