Ensure Firearm Is Legal In Your State

Diamondback Firearms is proud to present the DB9, a micro-compact 9mm pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB9 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol. A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp, smooth, trigger pull. The DB9 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

I purchased a Diamondback DB9 for my Christmas present and took it to the range. The pistol started to jam and misfire after the second clip, by the third clipit completely failed. I will definitely not put my life on this gun or buy any more of their products!
I Called Diamondback service department to get it fixed hopefully under warranty but the service department is MIA
I was warned by several gun shop owners not to buy this gun but I did anyway because of the size in 9mm vs. the price. That was a mistake, I should have spent a little more and save myself the aggravation of dealing with this gun and the company.
Regretfully V. Hull

Excellent firearm. Don't believe those limp-wrist-ed naysayers. Shot flawlessly for me right out of the box. Eats both high-end HP ammo and cheap ball ammo without a problem. I bought mine right before a price high - don't wait to long to pull the trigger

Don't waste your money on this one. Does not feed ammo well and Jams do your research and you will see.

After reading reviews and watching reviews on youtube I was not sure about this 9mm . But for the price I thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did! I put 200 rounds of the cheapest 9mm I could find HSM reloads and only had 3 Fail to feed and I think this was due to not getting the clip in all the way. The clip is a bit tight at first but starts to loosen up as you keep using it. The recoil on it is not as bad as I thought it would be from the reviews. It is very accurate as well at all . It never hurt my hand or the hands of four other people including 1 petite women. As I break this in I am very happy with it for the price and will use this as a carry weapon. I look forward to getting a ported barrel for it. I was told by Diamondback they should have some soon.

Brand new out of the box, this gun would not chamber a round with a full magazine; the round would take a nose dive on the feed ramp. However, when I loaded a magazine with just one round; it chambered just fine. Followed up with a full magazine behind the chambered round; the gun functioned flawlessly. 150 round thus far, 50 each of factory Am. Eagle 115gr RN, hand-loaded 125gr LCN, and hand-loaded 100gr HBRN.

The trigger pull is somewhat long, but smooth with a clean break; the weight of the trigger pull does not stack up. It's a great trigger that I would not want any lighter on a pocket gun. The DB9 is quite loud and snappy but surprisingly controllable and accurate, very low bore axis. I would liken it to shooting a 357 Sig. The diminutive sights are just perfect for this gun and do well to refine a sight picture with respect to its short sight radius.

Impressions? I'm going to use this DB9 in those instances where I prefer to pocket carry. The failure to feed a full magazine is circumvented by the procedure I previously mentioned. This is not a gun where I'd carry spare magazines anyway and have to combat re-load. The DB9 is a gun that fits a very specific role, and when kept in perspective, is just fine for my purposes.
