This was my first purchase of a firearm online. Everything went smoothly. I purchased through layaway and saw my rifle on sale while making the purchase. Not happy about that but in the end I still got what I wanted without any hassles. Would do business with buds again. Good customer service as far as any questions.

No delays in shipping from Bud's. Was at my FFL in 3 days. Changed existing scope rings to Warnes. Bore sighted and set up target approximately 50 to 60 yards away. Fired one shot and was 1 inch left and 1 inch low of POA. Not sighted in or fine tuned yet but I am looking forward to it.

Have had this gun a couple years now and taken several deer with it. It averages .75-1.0 moa with factory ammo. Love the accutrigger on these.

Extremely accurate with my handloads . Light and handy. Ditched the scope for a Leupold. 6.5 Creedmoor is a pussycat even this light gun. Accutrigger is excellent.

Bud's is great to deal with. Took about a week from order to pickup, and the rifle was exactly as represented. This is a great little rifle for the money. You should plan to upgrade to better mounts and rings. I mounted a one-piece rail with vertical rings, and had it sighted in in 4 rounds. Shooting Hornady Match 120 A-Max factory ammo, I am able to get 1/2" groups at 100 yards consistently. This rifle is a shooter, and that is what is important. The Savage Accutrigger is great. The stock is not the best, but it serves its purpose. This is a great carry anywhere bang-around rifle that I would not be afraid to take a 300 yard shot with. You can't go wrong with this deal.

GREAT GUN FOR THE MONEY. GREAT CALIBER AS WELL. BUDS WAS GREAT AS USUAL. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE MAGAZINE. IT IS KIND OF CHEAP AND CUMBERSOME BUT IT DOES WORK. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I AM GIVING IT 4 STARS.
