We've made an already accurate rifle even more accurate by mounting and bore sighting a Nikon 3-9x40 BDC Reticle scope to it. The Savage 110 is such an accurate rifle. For the price it's especially hard to beat.

I was looking for a "budget" 30-06 with a walnut stock and decided on this one. Like a few others have mentioned, the scope rings were loose out of the box. I always check this anyways, so a little blue Loctite was all that was needed to keep them tight for the past couple of years. Speaking of the scope, I do want to mention that while it is a Nikon scope, it isn't quite the quality of the ProStaff line. It is still a perfectly usable scope though! All-in-all I couldn't be happier with this rifle for the price I paid!

Love it. About 1 MOA out the box. Was able to tighten that up with very simple work to it. My goto for deer hunting at home in the Louisiana swamp and the long range antelope hunting in NorCal. The scope is a bit underpowered for the antelope but that is nothing to do with the gun. Was a bit more than quality that I anticipated. It is a mid range - entry level rifle. Or in my case a budget rifle. Very happy will be getting another in a different caliber.

overall a nice gun for the price. not at all built like the old bolt actions were. very loose and no where near as smooth as bolts from past. I guess a sign of the times...build it cheaper...nice gun but action is cheaply done and noisy

Overall i was pretty satisfied. I was pulling my hair out for the first 20 shots or so because i could not get a zero, but i then noticed that the scope was not fully tightened down. Rifle is what i would expect for the amount paid.
