Bought this single action revolver 22lr. Finally broke it in and I like it. Action was smooth and worked just fine. Put 100 rounds down range and the sights are good. I'm happy with this pistol and this was my first purchase with buds. FFL transfer was ok too.

Truly Nice revolver. The weight, feel and shooting it at the range is a lot of fun. Fits nicely in my holster and others notice how nice it looks.

Bought this chiappa antique 1873 after checking out some videos reviews and liked that it is a full size saa revolver. checking it out and firing about 30 rounds it seems to function well with nice loud 3 click when cocking hammer back and mine did shoot a little high on target but most of my single action 22's without target sights are a little off. the gun feels good in the hand with heft and balance & even the plastic grips feel pretty good. the antique finish on mine looks pretty good and from some of the pics.i have seen online they are all a little different in antique finish & the side ejector housing on mine is black and not antique finish. i kind of knew what i was getting before buying it & the negatives i can point out are that it has a steel lined barrel and cylinder along with the trigger being thinner & offset to one side. the cartridge ejector rod it thinner but works well so far. just like some of the other cheaper made revolvers it is steel and alloy metal construction and only time will tell how it holds up with use. overall i am glad i bought it but would not want to pay any more than the 159.00 paid. i have a lot of .22's single and double action and even my high standard double nine is made of steel & alloy construction and it's held up well thru the years. a smooth transaction thru bud's and delivered to my firearms dealer in a timely manner.

Chiappa makes some fine replica type firearms. This one feels good, handles good, and looks good. This is my second Chiappa firearm and I plan to buy more.

These guns from Buds look cool in the antique style and shoot really well without misfiring. Also, forgot to mention very well priced at time of purchase. You can also fan the gun like Clint Eastwood if you do desire!!!!

This is a solid built pistol for the price. Shoots great with good ammo, cheap bullets hard to eject but never has a misfire.

First off I would like to say that I love this gun now. That being said when it arrived it was brand new, took it to the range that day and had misfires and the cylinder locked up. Took it back to my FFL and he said the finish was terrible and recommended that I send it in under warranty. Chiappa took the warranty and about 7 weeks later I had it back. I would say this is a great fun and none of my problems were due to buds, and chiappa had excellent service. I probably just got a bad gun that slipped through QC. I would recommend this as it is a fun plinker
