Delivering effective shot patterns that place all projectiles on a man-sized target at seven yards, the Critical Defense1 410 features a unique Triple Defense projectile stack consisting of two 35 caliber round balls topped with one non-jacketed FTX slug. Unique to the Critical Defense 410, the 41 caliber FTX slug actually engages the gun's rifling, and contacts the target nose-on, enabling the patented Hornady Flex Tip technology to assist in expansion for greatly enhanced terminal performance. Each 35 caliber round ball is made of high antimony, cold swaged lead to resist deformation and provide excellent penetration.

great ammo. I put these through a.410 tactical shotgun gun. I wish the industry would keep up with demand on .410 ammo.

these are awesome loads, test firing into target at 10 meters, gave a shot pattern about one ft dia. ripped large gash out tree behind the target, will eliminate fig & persimmon eating raccoons in short order.

Very impressive rounds for 410. Slug and double OO. Buck in the same package. For defense is exactly what they will do. Can't miss with this one, but I have not made it out to shoot these beauties. Amaze your friends when you empty your gun to show it off. I have a 5 shot revolver and I only keep 4 rounds. More than enough.

These Critical Defense shells work great in my Taurus Judge revolver. Bud's Guns price at the time was also half of the cost of my LGS around me, so I bought 10 boxes to stock up!
