This rifle is a real treat to hold and handle. The time it took from ordering to picking up the gun took roughly 2 weeks, so keep that in mind when online shopping.
The rifle came in excellent condition with factory oil residue on the gun. The barrel of the gun is detached upon opening the box, so some assembly required. This is a heavy gun so keep that fact in mind before buying. The gun shoots 3.5 inch shells, which pack a HEAVY punch l. This is why I recommend you shoot 3 inch or even 2 3/4 inch shells instead. Yes, this gun can fire those rounds included with the option of 3.5 inch shells. It has a nice firm safety on the side by the trigger. Included in the specifications notes, it says that this is a 3+1 shell capacity. However with 2 3/4 inch shells, you can fit 4 shells in the tube plus 1 in the chamber. It also has a small silver bead sight on the end of the barrel chamber for aiming. I would suggest researching different attachments for this gun to suit your specific situation. Outstanding firearm and service from Bud's was exceptional. Came in Remington cardboard box, choke wrench, mag plug, and manual. Was very clean, if a little dry. I cleaned & lubed it anyway, brought it to the clay range, and put 100 2.75" shells through it without any failures. Points beautifully.

Great gun. Target shot a few times, i just need to get better at hitting them. Great gun.

I purchased this gun before the most recent duck season, and am quite impressed. I have had to step up and finish off wounded birds that my friends have left flopping around on the top of the water on more than one occasion. This gun has the potential to really reach out and touch them if you know what I mean. The 3.5" chamber is really nice to have for passing ducks. I was making shots that my friends with 3" chambers didn't even think about. The few extra dollars for the super mag is definately worth it!!!
