• Q: Is it safe to shoot this left hand or will I have to worry about shells hitting me in the face don’t want to cough up the money for the versa max.

  Justin,It is safe. If you have your face/cheek pressed/welded to the stock shooting left handed you will not get hit in the face by ejected shells. The ejected shells will not even hit your right shoulder. My son is a left handed shooter and has never been hit by a spent shell case on any semi-auto shotgun.

• Q: It says the choke is modified. Can the choke be changed out? Is a modified choke large enough to shoot 1 ounce slugs through?

  Hi Ryan, Yes the choke is a screw on/off. Accepts RemChoke tubes (modified included). Modified is the max choke for a slug but you will slightly better accuracy out of the cylinder choke by removing the modified choke for slug firing.

  this gun comes with a Modified choke tube which is a good all around choke it will be good in most hunting situations (good for sporting clays) IC (improved cylinder) is a better choke for close range hunting of upland game ( birds and Rabbits" is also good for Skeet full choke is best for longer range hunting and for things like Turkey and Ducks also good for trap shooting My favorite choke is LM or light modified it fits in between the IC and modified chokes and to me is the best all around choke Hope this quick view of the most common chokes helps
