What can I say? It's a Glock. I've shot literally thousands of rounds through this specific model 13+1 G23 through the years and have not had not a single failure. Great firearm with multiple applications and buds provided yet another great experience!

I was waiting for Glock to come out with a 22 so I could use it on my suppressor thoroughly impressed with any other lot product that I am with definitely recommend it to anybody and will definitely buy another one

I took it to the range and the accuracy was spot on. It is easy to break down and clean and works great with no issues. The Glock is lightweight, feels good and solid in my hand, and came with a variety of back straps to customize the "feel" to your individual preference. The case it came in holds the pistol and extra magazines securely between two heavy duty cushions and will probably last as long as my Glock does. I was introduced to handguns with my grandfather's Colt 1911 .45, and that brand holds a special place in my heart. Next second favorite handgun brand is a tie: Glock and Sig. Glock is certainly reliable, as everyone knows. I shoot the .40 S&W as well as the 9MM, but the Gen 4 Glock is hard to beat, even by an all steel weapon. This brand I can enthusiastically recommend, and is usually less expensive than a Colt or a Sig. If you are looking to obtain an uber reliable handgun you can not go wrong with a Glock for a very reasonable price.

Awesome gun very happy with it

The Glock 23 is my baby and my everyday carry gun. When it comes to quality and reliability you can not beat Glock. I have had this gun for 2 years now and have thousands of rounds through it without one jam or misfire. The .40 gives a nice little kick that keeps makes it much more fun to shoot than a 9mm. I plan on keeping this gun for my lifetime and I have no doubt it will outlive me.

I will keep this short and sweet. It’s a Glock, therefore there isn’t much more to say on that end. It is durable and accurate. If you’re new to .40 S&W then starting here is a good place to start. The first pistol I owned was a Gen 2 G23, this Gen-4 is just a little better at controlling the snappy muzzle climb of .40. New shooters of this caliber have one thing to look forawrd to and that is muzzle control under rapid fire. Not painful and not unpleasant, just different. The only reason I purchased this G23 was so I can order a G32 barrel and have both caliber options. I carry it in the standard .40 configuration, simply because I keep forgetting to order the .357 Sig barrel. It’s not my favorite pistol, yet it keeps finding it’s way into my day to day carry rotation. Which means I trust my life to a Glock .40. Earns 4 out of 5 simply because it is what it is, and that is a handgun that is well built and in a caliber that has been proven effective. It earns another point due to the availability of caliber conversion if you want a .357 Sig barrel.

The Glock 23 40 cal is my first Glock and I love it. Adding a Crimson Trace Lightguard was the final touch. It's easily concealed and comfortable. Whether in the woods or range, this pistol performs swimmingly every time. Highly recommend this firearm.

I wasn't sure about buying this gun cause of the big debate war on the internet about the 9mm vs the 40 sw. I own both now 9mm and 40cal. Those who complain about the 40 being inaccurate or flippy just need to get a tennis ball and strengthen their hands and wrist I guess. Recoil is the same if not less with the 40. Or maybe cause it's a Glock .40????? 40 cal cartridge a is a good choice. Don't buy into all the introweb hype. 9 vs 40. Glad I bought it. This will be my main carry and everyday use firearm. Thank you Buds for the fast shipping, but you need to increase the time one has to cancel a order! Make sure you 100% on your purchase before hitting the submit button cause you only got a hour or two to change your mind. But I can say now that the glock 23 was the best choice in the 40cal line of any gun.

This is the second time I've bought a Glock and sold it. It's not that it doesn't function good but incredibly over hyped. You have to have block hands for this gun to fit your hands. I don't understand why they build such an uncomfortable gun. The trigger guard needs some serious under cutting my middle finger gets a blister on my knuckle every time I shot it. Plus the hump on the back of the handle needs to be shaved off even Hickok 45 said the same thing. I could never get my hand to lay flat on it know matter what back strap I used. If Glock just fixed these issues I would still have it. And it is the perfect size fighting gun. There are much better options out there one is the Steyr, this is what Glock should've been. And some other newer releases of other company's that look very promising. Sorry but I could only give it 3 stars.

I like it but don't love it. Wish I went with the 19 9mm. Granted I bought for home defense, so IT WILL get the job done 100%. I was only accurate at 7 yards where I like to be zeroed at 10. Definitely recommend the tac light for the under mount. 9.5/10.

I purchased this Glock 23 Gen 4 to be my primary EDC pistol. It's my third Glock, so that says a lot about my confidence in the brand. I received the transfer from Bud's on a Wednesday, and on Thursday I put 150 rounds of 180 gr. ammo through it. The pistol performed as expected, or perhaps I should say like a Glock. As with any new gun, or I should say new magazines, the magazine springs are stiff. The springs in each of the magazines that came with my G23 were very stiff. I only mention this because it's very easy to blame a FTF on the gun, when it is in fact due to stiff magazine springs. The springs will relax with use. In my opinion, if anyone is considering a .40S&W, the Glock 23 is an excellent choice for concealed carry, and a reliable pistol to shoot. I know I am very pleased with mine. I also have to add that this was my first purchase from Buds, and I'm very pleased with how they do business. I'm already planning my next purchase from them. Thanks, Team Buds!!!

Recently I purchased a Glock 23 Gen 4 while I was in Lexington. I currently live in Arizona and the firearm had to be shipped here to my FFL dealer. I was very impressed with the rapidity with which my firearm was shipped out and with how quickly I received it. Good job Bud's. I am very pleased with the quality of the Glock 23. It is everything one could want in a hand gun. As Tommy Lee Jones once said, "Get rid of that nickel-plated sissy pistol and get yourself a Glock." Nuff said.
