Have wanted an Sig 226 MK25 for years and finally ordered one, got it in an ok time frame. This really is a great shooting pistol, it will go to my son one day. I have a rifle on order from Buds currently, and I’m waiting on it to come in. One bright spot at Bud’s the day I picked it up was the man that waited on me was excellent and gave great customer service which is missing anymore.

My first Sig Sauer purchase, money well spent, accurate, reliable and trustworthy. I feel this is one of the best offerings you could possibly purchase from Bud's. Performs top notch in every way, super firearm for self protection or the gun range. Used several different makes of ammunition, all worked well, my fav was Hornady. Easy to take care of, Solid to own. Support from Bud's was excellent. I would rate this as a can't miss opportunity if you get the chance to purchase a P226 MK25.

P226 MK25 has always been my favor hand gun. Please as a Navy vet and seeing that anchor engraved on it, well it's an awesome sight to me. Love it. I have notice it prefers 147g ammo. Eventhough using 115, 125 it really nices 147g. Again awesome hand gun,

The Sig 226 MK25 is my first hand gun and a great hand gun. Feels good in my hand and shoots great. Have fired about a thousand rounds of all kinds with no issues. Easy to take down and clean. I am happy to have and proud of this one.

I’m a Glock guy through and through but this is definitely my favorite DA/SA pistol. Great Sig quality and an amazing modern history pistol. Best price I found and that’s including the transfer feel from my local FFL. Yet another happy purchase from Buds!

Bud's was great: professional, courteous, fast. Good price too. The Sig P226 Navy – Positives: 1. Cool factor. This is the gun used by the Navy Seals. I bought it because I was in the Navy and worked with the Seals. 2. Sweet shooter. This is a soft shooter because its a full sized, steel duty weapon. Feels good in the hand. Minimal recoil. Easy to put follow-up shots on target. Fun, fun, fun. 3. Nice trigger. Not 1911 great, but nice. The double action is smooth, on par with a Baretta 92FS, and the single action is excellent. 4. Sig quality. Stupid reliable and zero failures. Nice Sig combat sights. Negatives: 1. Big & Heavy. This is a full size duty weapon made for combat. I still carry it 9 months of the year in Alabama because I carry discreetly but not I'm not overly sensitive about printing. I usually wear a sport jacket or outer vest, and really like the feel of carrying a full size gun. I go small when I have to, but full size makes me feel warm and fuzzy. 2. Double action first pull. Takes getting used to. My first double/single action was a Beretta 92. I avoided D/S actions because I learned on a single action. But, when I took the plunge, it turned out to be not such a big deal, especially for self defense purposes. 3. Phosphate coating. The coating on the barrel is high speed, meant to sustain salt water emersion, but shows wear quickly. Wear seems excessive compared to Sig nitron coating on P365. Told by Sig my wear was normal and not to worry because the coating is "embedded in the steel". Hmmm ... OK ... still looks excessive. Would I buy again? Yes, mostly to honor my time in the Navy and the men I served.

I shot my new Sig P226 MK25 for the first time this weekend, this pistol is AMAZING! After two clips this immediately became my favorite gun out many I own. It just feels perfect in my hands, the sights are easy to find and the trigger is buttery smooth. My grouping was extremely tight immediately. I’ve become found of putting red dots on my pistols to the point of having the slide milled on my Springfield Armory 1911 for one. The Sig P226 is so beautiful I dare not mar it with a red dot, it’s perfect as is.

Sig Sauer P226 MK25 What an amazing piece of historic durable beauty. Yes, a small light handgun is desirable to carry concealed on a regular basis (I love my P365XL) but, put the Navy Seals on your hip in a quality holster and you can’t have much more of a secure outlook on the day whether walking at the mall or hiking up the mountain. The build and workmanship cannot be beat. Put it in your hand and you immediately recognize something special. Something that will be a dependable performer for a long time. Shoot it. The workings are buttery and it’s easy in the hands. Yep, it’s a winner.

Excellent pistol. My daily carry pistol. Over time the QR code sticker has chipped away. Accurate and easy to shoot. I bought the threaded barrel from Sig to give me an option to shoot this with a silencer and it runs great with one.

I am proud to be the owner of this quality handgun. It is my first Sig Sauer firearm and will most likely not be the last. Before going to the range, I broke it down and ran a bore snake down the barrel. Sig likes to use what looks to be a white lithium type grease on the slide at the factory so I wiped that out and used my favorite, Mpro7 lube. Using quality ammo, I had one FTE after about 100 rounds but none after another 100 or so fired. The trigger is smooth and has a short reset. The tritium night sights are sweet, one inch groups in the head of a torso silhouette from 10 yards. Being primarily a Glock guy these are refreshing qualities in a stock handgun. I also like the DA/SA function of the gun. It is nice to be able to carry with a round chambered and know that the primer is not going to be struck unless unless the hammer does the striking. It comes with a certificate of authenticity certifying that the gun has the same design, components and markings used in compliance with the manufacturing contract Sig Sauer has with the US Navy in use by the SEAL teams. Being an army vet, I love my Navy gun! As always Bud's had it to my FFL dealer within five days.

I have always wanted this version of the 226 and just decided to order it when it came back in stock. Easy process with buds and pretty quick shipping during all the world events of 2020. Everything was in perfect condition and the mk25 is awesome. Another great experience with budsgunshop.

Finally got one!! MK25, took a few months to get this baby paid off and when I got it home it feels and operates sweet, I had purchased the nickel-plated aRex 01 and it does not even compared to this sig, I ordered the SRT polished it and installed it and I am truly proud of this, if it wasn't for buds layaway program I would not have it, bud is making dreams come true, thanks guys !!!! Finally I have Sig Sauer for the collection. For a long time I've always overlooked the type of firearm but heard excellent reviews on them. The firearm was great compared to others I seen. I'm still getting used to it though with the safety system where the hammer doesn't touch the pin which is brilliant. Buds always give good quality firearms, love doing business with them each time.
